From the Desk of the President: Alexis Holmes Jones
Dear CSEA Members,
Fall is once again upon us, and I hope all of you had a safe and enjoyable Summer.
The most important issue our membership faces this year is exercising our "Right to Vote." As Americans we are afforded Civil Liberties, a right to choose and an obligation to vote. Before casting your votes, I encourage all CSEA Members to study politician's records and their policies. Stay current with the issues that affect working families everywhere and vote accordingly.
As I stated at CSEA's Annual Meeting in March, 2016, the Civil Service Employees Association and CSEA's Credit Union is approximately Five Thousand (5,000) members strong. We have voting power. Our consensus votes can change communities, cities, the state and even the country. We owe it to our fellow Civil Service Members to participate.
I encourage you to exercise your right to vote with an open heart, keeping in mind what is best for all, especially keeping in mind all the honorable, hardworking Civil Service workers and their families in our communities, our city, our state and our country.
See you at the Polls!
